Garden Office: Many of our log cabins are ideal as a garden home office. Below we present a selection of wooden garden buildings as ideas but throughout the website we have lots of other wooden buildings.
We suggest that when looking for a home office you should consider the following:
- Thickness: We take the view that 44mm or 70mm carefully jointed timber is the optimal thickness.

Glazing: Many log cabins and summer houses offer double glazing as standard or as an optional extra. We feel that in terms of insulating the garden building - double glazing should be the first thing that you think about. - Roof and floor insulation: We can offer roof and floor insulation with many of our garden buidlings as an optional extra. Roof insulation is definitely worth considering as it has the dual effect of helping to keep the building cool in the hottest of weather in summer and also the obvious benefit of helping to maintain a comfortable environment in winter.
