What is the thermowood treatment?
Thermowood treatment is the process of treating wood at high temperatures (in the regions of 170 - 230 Degrees C) which removes moisture and bacteria ensuring logevity and also gives it a unique appearance. It is recommended to have the wood thermo treated if you are in particularly low temperature climates for the best protection from the elements. Thermowood is not a substiture to wood treatment, and we always advise to treat the timber as well as adding the thermowood option.
