    • Shingles are Not Supplied with nails to fit them. The nails that will be required are:
    • 13mm Clout Nails
    • Or if Fitted on Roof Insulation:
    •  60mm / 70mm Clout Nails (depending on roof board thickness)
    • It is not standard practice to use an adhesive when fitting shingles to garden buildings however in areas of significant exposure to wind it is advisable (Adhesive not Supplied).

Bitumen Felt Roof Shingles are an Extremely Durable Roofing Material and are Ideally suited to Log Cabins and Summer Houses. Made from a similar material to Shed Felt but VERY much thicker and more sturdy. Each piece is 1m in length x 35cm Deep and has 3 tiles. The Shingles are easy to Fit.

  • Can be used as Under-lay for Roof Shingles if required (Roof Shingles would usually be fitted straight onto roof boards)
  • Shed Felt is a quick and Easy to Fit, fairly Durable Roofing material that is commonly seen on Garden Sheds and Smaller Log Cabin Style Buildings. The quantity supplied with your Log Cabin / Summer House will be enough to cover the roof whilst also allowing for the necessary overlaps that are required.
  • In General Shed Felt would only be used on an Octagonal, Hexagonal or Pyramid Roof as an under-lay for your own roofing material.  For Example if Cedar Shingles are to be fitted.

The Whitewood Mosel Log Cabin: Constructed using 34mm T&G wall logs the Mosel Log Cabin will be a sturdy and permanent fixture in your outdoor space. The canopy is 0.50m away from the font of the log cabin and offers shade whilst being an attractive feature. The front single door is offset to the left hand side and open outwards. The floor is 8.6m², a which good sized space to suit different functions. You could turn this space into a workshop or a studio for your creative pursuits or as a space to relax in. The Whitewood Mosel Log Cabin can also double up as storage.
