Garages & Carports

Garages & Carports

Garages are ideal storage buildings for cars, vans, motorbikes, and other vehicles. They also provide a safe and secure place for the equipment and tools you might have, similar to that of a workshop building. We have a wide range of garages available, ranging in size, shape and material. We typically would recommend a wooden garage, as these are made from high-quality North European Spruce which offers excellent longevity and durability. If you are looking for garages for sale, we have something for everyone.

Types of garage doors

Depending on your preference there are usually 3 different types of garage doors to choose from when buying a garage from us.

Without a garage door:

Sometimes you may not want a garage door installed, this is usually the best drive-in / drive-out solution with the added protection from weather similar to a carport but with the extra walls of the building. When you select a garage without a door this also works out as a budget-friendly option, as the building will have the cut-out section for a garage door, you can always install one from an external source.

Side Hung Double Doors:

The classic garage door option, side hung doors offer an easy opening method with the traditional features of a regular door. Side hung doors, providing you have the space for the opening and closing angle can be a great budget option with the extra security over having no doors.

Up and over sectional garage door:

One of the most popular garage door styles, up-and-over garage doors are built from multiple sections which fold round a curved track that sits inside the garage roof. This makes for a seamlessly smooth opening and closing mechanism which saves space compared to a classic side-hung door. These types of garage doors are usually made from high-quality metals to enhance security and can be fitted with a secure long bar lock. The only downside to an up-and-over garage door is that the track and mechanism take internal space but this is usually very minimal and in a place that is usually not required for storage.  Up and over doors, where they are an option, do require more advanced DIY abilities than the other style of doors.
